# Start here

This guide connects **your own website** to the Aeris Affiliate Network — so creators who promote your products drive real sales to your store, and you pay only when a sale actually happens. Plan about half a day of engineering time.

## Start here

New to this? Here's the whole thing in plain words. You do **three small things**, then you're done.

**1. Get your key.** In your Aeris console, open **Affiliate → Integration** and click **Generate API key**. You get two values — copy them somewhere safe (the secret is shown only once).

**2. Add the tracking snippet.** Paste one small script into every page of your site (see *Quickstart*). It just notices which creator sent a shopper — you don't build anything.

**3. Tell us when an order is paid.** The moment a customer pays, your server sends us one short message with the order number and the amount. **This is the part that pays the creator.**

That's the whole integration. This page turns **green** on its own when it sees your first visit and your first order — you don't need to ask anyone to check.
